ROAS Calculator

Calculate your return on ad spend (ROAS) from advertising spend and the revenue it generated.

Total amount spent on the campaign(s) you're measuring.
Total revenue attributed to that same spend.

Formula

ROAS = Revenue ÷ Advertising Spend

The result tells you how many dollars of revenue you generated for every dollar spent on advertising. A ROAS of 4 means $4 of revenue for every $1 spent.

Worked Example

Suppose you spend $2,000 on a campaign and it generates $8,000 in revenue. ROAS = $8,000 ÷ $2,000 = 4.0, or a 4:1 return.

Note that ROAS on its own doesn't tell you whether that campaign was actually profitable — see why ROAS doesn't tell you whether your ads are profitable, and use the Break-Even ROAS Calculator to find the ROAS you actually need.
